Role Description

As a Research Scientist at TheTake, you’ll be integral to developing cutting-edge machine learning models for our metadata generation pipeline. You will be in charge of critical projects at the forefront of fields like computer vision, natural language processing, meta-learning, and set learning, among others. You will be able to see your models from research to deployed at scale to our users.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cutting edge machine learning research that advances our understanding of fields like computer vision and natural language processing
  • Contribute research that can be applied to our core products
Requirements
  • PhD or you are currently in the process of obtaining a PhD
  • Extensive knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, or Theano and a solid grasp of deep learning
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Python, Java, C++, or comparable OO languages
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating diverse data
  • Experience communicating highly technical research concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
  • Passion for fashion and film
  • Published research papers at top-tier machine learning conferences
