Role Description

As a Machine Learning Research Engineer at TheTake, you’ll be integral to developing our machine learning models and research infrastructure. You will assist Research Scientists in producing cutting edge machine learning research in order to improve the performance of our industry-leading video metadata generation pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Train custom models with curated datasets and evaluate model performance
  • Implement cutting edge machine learning research
  • Maintain our research ML infrastructure
  • Bridge the gap between research and product with backend engineers
Requirements
  • Either B.S. plus minimum 2 years of industry experience, M.S., or demonstrated domain expertise
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Python, Java, C++, or comparable OO languages
  • Demonstrated projects in deep learning using a neural network framework such as TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, or Theano and a solid grasp of machine learning
  • The ability to stay up-to-date with the latest research
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
